Why should I use the Pass People?

The Pass People are a driving school with a difference… well actually a lot of differences! Our skilled Booking Managers will help you to get on the road sooner than ever by using our rapid test booking service. Usual wait times for a driving test can be 3 sometimes 4 months, however we can secure tests only weeks away in the timescale you are looking for.

We also believe that just because you want to pass your test quickly, customer service shouldn’t go by the roadside. We pride ourselves on our customer service above all else and if we cannot deliver you the test date you are looking for, we will refund your deposit with no questions asked.

How do I choose the most suitable course for me?

Our website will help guide you to find the best course for your abilities, alternatively one of our Booking Managers can talk to you about your requirements and recommend the most suitable course.

What happens if I need more hours of driving tuition?

We understand that picking the right course is not an exact science and we don’t want anyone to feel under pressure to take a test when they don’t feel ready. If you feel you need more hours you can simply ring one of our Booking Managers and they will arrange the extra hours you need.

How do I contact The Pass People?

Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and we will always be on hand to answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions about our courses you will be able to contact us easily by phone on 0330 174 1399, email or social media.

What happens when I pay my deposit?

You won’t have to part with hundreds of pounds when booking with ourselves. In order to start the process of getting you on the road we require a deposit of only £145. Once this has been received, one of our Booking Managers will book your theory test or practical test (where applicable) and match you up with one of our DVSA approved driving instructors. Only at this point will the remainder of the balance be due.

Can I pay in full immediately?

Yes! If you are eager to begin your lessons, paying for the course in full will speed things up. The full balance must be paid at least 7 days before your lessons begin, so paying in full from the outset means you’ll be ready to go!

I'm not a confident driver, are intensive courses only for people with experience?

No, not at all. Everyone learns at different paces and in different ways. We also understand that everyone has a different level of experience. If you are nervous, our Booking Managers will help you select the right course for you to ensure you are confident at the time of your test. All of our top class instructors are trained to adapt the way they teach every individual, to give you the confidence to pass your test regardless of your previous experience.

What if I fail my practical test?

We hope this won’t be the case but in the event that you fail your test simply get back in touch with one of our Booking Managers and we will help you decide the best route forward; whether it just be booking a re-test or booking another short course. We offer a discount to all returning customers who book a course through us.

Do I need to pass my theory before I can start my lessons?

No not all all. You can start your lessons before you take your theory test, however you cannot book your practical test until you have passed your theory test. If you would like us to book you a theory test using our rapid test booking service call one of our Booking Managers on 0330 174 1399

Do you offer a pass guarantee?

We hope that everyone passes first time but as a driving test requires you to apply your own skill and knowledge, it would be impossible for us to guarantee. Your driving instructor will do everything they can to assist you in passing your test, however it is also dependent on you making the most of your lessons and giving 100% to ensure you are ready when the time comes.

What happens if I can't make or need to cancel a lesson?

Once you are matched with a driving instructor they will be on hand to help you schedule your lessons. Just keep them informed of any changes you need to make with as much notice as possible. All our instructors are self employed and last minute cancellations can make it impossible for them to fill the space in their schedule. All instructors will have their own cancellation policy and most require 24-48 hours so you must ensure you are clear on your own instructors’ policy before your first lesson.

Is it possible to postpone my course?

Yes! We understand that life throws things at us and you may need to postpone your course at some point. If this is the case simply ring your Booking Manager and they will discuss this with you.

How do I make a complaint?

We hope this will never be the case but if you ever feel the need to make a complaint then we would want to speak to you to see how we can resolve it. Simply call one of our Booking Managers on 0330 174 1399.
